The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel considers the health and safety of our Fellows, spouses and guests, sponsors, and staff first. International, national, and local governments continue to release recommendations, requirements, and restrictions around what events should and should not be hosted. We are monitoring a variety of sources for the latest updates. As more is learned, ACTEC will share information and make decisions whether a particular meeting should occur in light of the information available.
We will continue to evaluate the situation as plans progress for the 2020 Summer Meeting, state & regional meetings and other events scheduled for the rest of the year. We will advise all as circumstances change and develop. We will provide additional updates Friday of each week, as warranted. For the most up-to-date and current information on COVID-19, please refer to the CDC, WHO and local public health agencies.
As of March 20, the following events have been canceled:
- MidAtlantic Fellows Institute Session III, originally scheduled for April 2 and 3
- The 2020 Southern Regional Meeting, originally scheduled for April 3-5
- The 2020 Ohio Fellows Meeting, originally scheduled for April 24-26
