Position Description
Rising 2L interns will assist attorneys or financial professionals in varied aspects of the trust and estate profession and will participate in 2-3 hours per week of seminar instruction.
Intern employers engage in a dynamic and diverse area of law practice that includes: preparing wills and trusts; probate; estate and trust administration; elder law; guardian and conservator administration; state and federal income, estate, gift, and inheritance taxation; asset preservation; employee benefit planning; charitable planning; advising tax-exempt organizations; and litigation involving probate, trust, and protective proceedings.

- Official or unofficial law school transcript.
- A writing sample (no more than 5 pages, legal or academic).

The 1L Summer Legal Internships in Estate Planning & Fiduciary Law program offers temporary positions with both educational and professional development opportunities.
