Our February Study Group meeting is this Thursday, February 8, 2023. Agenda attached.
The meeting will be held both in person (Perkins Coie, 1201 Third Avenue, Suite 4900, Seattle WA 98101) and virtually (see link below). Perkins Coie will provide lunch for those attending in person.
Please indicate if you need a vegetarian/vegan option. For those of you attending in person, please RSVP to my assistant, Lorraine Merkle (lmerkle@perkinscoie.com) by noon on Tuesday, February 6 at the latest. Even if you’re not eating, we need to get you on the guest list for entry access.
In addition, please let Akane Suzuki know if there is anything you would like to add to the Agenda for the Open Mic discussion or otherwise in advance of the meeting. As you will see on the Agenda, we are looking for speakers and topics for the upcoming year. We are also specifically looking for someone to do a refresher course on the new WA Capital Gains Tax now that it is about to be collected, and specific issues that we should be aware of for our estate planning clients. Please let her know if you would be willing to take this or any other topic on and thanks in advance for volunteering!
